First retained observation: 2026-05-05T14:24:30.301Z. May lacks coverage before that date. A month with no verified observations is unavailable, not zero. September is month to date only while the cutoff falls within September; its raw volume is never compared with a full month or extrapolated.
Large observation batches can contain older advertisements. The largest retained batches with ads dated more than seven days earlier are:
These are import signals, not proof of an import. Scrapers and represented companies changed over time. No verified continuous company panel or complete junior snapshots exist, so no stable-panel or market-wide trend is asserted. Seniority values are the currently retained labels, not versioned labels as they appeared each month.

Top eight by junior volume. Canonical city / country labels follow Jobs by City normalization. A multi-city listing can contribute to several cities, once per city, but only once to the global total. Locations without a structured city are excluded here.

Entry-level-labelled roles requiring 3+ years: 2 / 249 (0.8%). Interpretable coverage: 249 / 252 (98.8%).
| Minimum experience signal | Junior listings | Share of all junior |

| Explicit no experience / minimum 0 years | 246 | 97.6% |

| Minimum 3+ years | 2 | 0.8% |
| Unspecified, uninterpretable or preferred-only | 3 | 1.2% |
The existing normalized experience field is not a definitive reading of mandatory requirements. Bare ranges do not distinguish required from preferred experience; explicitly preferred values are excluded from the interpretable denominator. Missing is never zero, ranges retain their minimum and original text, and multiple technology requirements are not added together. Original field values present: 0-2; 3-5; 2-4.
Descriptive comparison with other known seniorities; internships and unknown seniority are excluded from the comparison group. Differences do not establish causation.

73 / 252 junior listings publish at least one positive salary bound (29.0%).
Insufficient comparable salary data
A comparison requires at least 10 closed salary ranges with a verified common country, currency, annual period and base-pay definition. The current schema does not preserve salary period or base versus total compensation, so comparable coverage is unverified. No salary midpoint is inferred from open ranges or missing values.
Current cohort: published, created before the cutoff and with no expiry or expiry after the cutoff. Historical cohort: retained published, expired or archived listings, first observed from May 1 through September 30, 2026, including listings already expired. Monthly intervals are [start, next month), capped at the snapshot cutoff, in UTC. The database creation date is a proxy for first observation, not the original market publication date; updatedAt and publishedAt never move a listing into a new monthly cohort.
Deduplication: same company plus identical trimmed application URL (fragment removed, query parameters preserved); otherwise Job ID. Global history uses the earliest retained record; current opportunities use the most recently updated active record. This conservative rule may retain duplicates with different URLs and may merge repostings at a reused URL. Each unique listing belongs to one first-observed month. Advertisements are neither completed hires nor necessarily one vacancy.
Junior means the stored seniority is junior, entry or entry-level. Intern, internship, trainee, traineeship, apprentice and apprenticeship signals in seniority, employment type or explicit title words take precedence and form a separate, mutually exclusive group. Associate and Executive titles never automatically imply junior. Other recognized levels include mid, senior, lead, manager, director, VP, staff, principal and C-level; unrecognized values remain unknown. Combining junior and training counts never double-counts a listing.
Monthly percentages divide by all unique observations, including unknown seniority. Classification coverage is known seniority / all observations. A known label is not a quality guarantee. Historical retention and scraper coverage are not independently verified; missing months are not fabricated. No sector growth, disappearance of junior talent, continuous company coverage or completed hiring is inferred.
All aggregation and findings are deterministic, computed on the server from one database snapshot and cached using the existing hourly public-data policy. No descriptions are fetched on page load and no AI generation runs during requests.
