Full job description

FreeWheel, a Comcast company, is seeking a Yield Planner responsible for optimizing global video inventory to maximize revenue. The role involves creating media plans and forecasts, monitoring campaign performance, implementing pricing strategies, and building dashboards using Looker and Excel. Candidates should have 2-5 years of experience, strong programmatic video knowledge including header bidding and SSP, advanced Excel and BI tool skills, and excellent English communication. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required. The position is based in Paris, France.

What you'll do

  • Create comprehensive media plans and inventory forecasts in response to RFPs
  • Ensure proposed campaigns are feasible, profitable, and aligned with available video inventory
  • Monitor daily campaign performance across DIO, Programmatic Guaranteed, Private Marketplaces, and Open Exchange
  • Implement pricing floors and throttling strategies to maximize yield and safeguard margins
  • Build and maintain automated dashboards using Looker and Excel
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses on KPIs such as Fill Rate and eCPM to identify growth opportunities
  • Contribute to cross-functional projects involving multiple disciplines and technical areas

Requirements

  • Solid understanding of the programmatic video landscape, including header bidding and SSP mechanics
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas, data modeling)
  • Experience with Business Intelligence tools, specifically Looker
  • Ability to translate raw data into clear, commercial narratives
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Methodical approach to troubleshooting delivery issues and optimizing auction environments
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of coursework and experience
