Full job description

Skai is hiring a Sales Team Lead to manage and grow a team of sales professionals focused on enterprise brands in Financial Services, Education, Media and Entertainment, Technology, and Travel. The role involves driving sales performance, developing business plans, managing revenue pipelines, recruiting and training sales staff, collaborating with marketing, and mentoring team members. Candidates should have 5-10 years of digital sales or sales management experience, knowledge of key verticals, comfort selling software and services, and familiarity with CRM tools like Salesforce and LinkedIn Navigator. The position is full-time, hybrid (three days in office per week) based in San Francisco, California. Salary ranges from $175,000 to $220,000 plus commissions.

What you'll do

  • Manage and drive your sales team to peak performance
  • Collaborate with your Regional Vice President and the Management team to develop a business plan designed to meet and exceed your revenue goals
  • Manage your revenue pipeline to meet monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals
  • Recruit, hire and train members of the Sales Team to drive sales excellence
  • Work closely with the Marketing and Sales Development team on events and targeted campaigns
  • Develop, coach and mentor your direct reports
  • Support employees through internal talent management programs and performance reviews

Requirements

  • Five to Ten years of digital experience in a Sales and/or Sales Manager role
  • Working knowledge of one or more of these key verticals; Financial Services, Education, Media and Entertainment, Technology and Travel
  • Willingness to learn
  • Creativity, passion, positivity, and drive
  • People management experience (desirable)
  • BA/BS degree preferred, but will consider equivalent years of work experience
  • Comfort with selling software and services
  • SaaS and Sales experience preferred
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and as part of the overall Sales team
  • Knowledge of prospecting and CRM software (Ideally Salesforce & LinkedIn Navigator)
  • Technical expertise and ability to acquire knowledge of our solutions
