Full job description

TripleLift seeks a Sales Director based in Detroit, MI to drive revenue growth by identifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities and deepening agency relationships. The role requires managing a sales pipeline focused on Automotive and agency accounts, maintaining client data in Salesforce, and meeting quarterly and annual revenue targets. Candidates must have a strong track record in programmatic advertising sales, excellent communication and analytical skills, and the ability to own projects and exceed goals. The position involves strategic partnership cultivation, solution selling across multiple programmatic formats (Native, CTV, Retail Media, OLV, Data), forecasting sales, and reporting to leadership. What you'll do

  • Actively prospect and build a robust pipeline of new business opportunities with a focus on Automotive, agency and client accounts
  • Cultivate and expand relationships with key decision-makers at agencies, trading desks, DSPs, and advertisers
  • Strategically position full suite of programmatic offerings including Native, CTV, Retail Media, OLV, and Data solutions
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client information, activities, and pipeline in Salesforce
  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue goals according to sales plan
  • Stay informed on industry trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities
  • Utilize a solution-selling philosophy by listening to key business requirements and selling through TripleLift's solutions
  • Assess potential business deals through RFP responses and pursue proactive opportunities via strategic partnerships
  • Network at industry-relevant functions to increase company visibility and connect with new clients
  • Effectively forecast monthly, quarterly, and annual sales
  • Provide weekly updates to leadership on sales, leads, and status of prospective projects

Requirements

  • Proven ability to build and grow agency partnerships at all levels, from planners to executive stakeholders
  • Deep understanding of the programmatic ecosystem and general sales process, with experience selling cross-format solutions
  • Highly motivated team player who consistently strives to exceed goals and push expectations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Superior analytical skills and a strong grasp of customer needs
  • Comfortable taking ownership of projects and showcasing key accomplishments
