Full job description

FreeWheel, a Comcast company, seeks a VP, Head of Supply based in New York, NY. Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, this role leads Sales teams managing all Supply-side client relationships and drives revenue for sell-side software and technology including ad-serving and monetization solutions. Responsibilities include developing and executing unified supply strategies, collaborating with senior leadership, managing sales teams, negotiating enterprise agreements, and ensuring client satisfaction. The candidate must have 15+ years in media and technology sales with strong programmatic advertising experience, proven revenue growth, and leadership skills. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required. Compensation includes base pay $295,991.74 - $443,987.61 plus targeted commission of $150,000. What you'll do

  • Develop and execute a unified supply strategy integrating ad server, programmatic exchange, and monetization capabilities
  • Deliver high-quality results turning strategic vision into action with efficiency and meeting deadlines
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align supply revenue strategy with business goals and long-range plan
  • Ensure alignment with VP of US Revenue, Demand, and VP of Programmatic operations
  • Drive growth by identifying new revenue opportunities and optimizing existing business
  • Distill complex narratives and market dynamics into strategic and actionable growth plans
  • Elevate company visibility through thought leadership and industry relationships
  • Lead and manage US Revenue sales team partnering with Demand & Programmatic operations
  • Oversee vertical sales strategies to maximize growth from content distributors and new segments
  • Lead negotiation and execution of large scale, multi-year enterprise agreements
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance providing actionable insights
  • Drive adoption and monetization of full platform including ad server, SSP, and data solutions
  • Manage team providing guidance, mentorship, clarity of role and support
  • Foster collaboration and education across sales leaders and account owners
  • Establish verticalized and segment-based growth strategies
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and development to maintain top talent
  • Promote a results-driven culture and professional growth
  • Partner with Demand, Product, Marketing, Operations, and New Business teams for alignment
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and promote new product offerings
  • Ensure client satisfaction by delivering exceptional service and addressing escalations
  • Implement rigor and best practices for efficient supply operations
  • Oversee integration and utilization of data and technology to enhance supply activation
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and maintain transparency and integrity

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in media and technology sales, programmatic advertising highly preferred
  • Excellent understanding of the premium video advertising ecosystem
  • Proven success in setting and exceeding revenue goals
  • Established track record of closing and scaling complex enterprise partnerships
  • Strong relationships with executive-level Publishers and Agencies
  • Experience in managing, mentoring and motivating sales teams
  • Executive-level interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience managing partners and negotiating complex agreements
  • Self-motivated with attention to detail and a results-driven approach
  • Strong understanding of client requirements and how to appropriately respond
  • Ability to drive change management in evolving business environments
  • Ability to support company objectives with clients, ensuring adoption of new offerings
  • Consultative approach to driving solutions internally and externally
  • Aptitude to forge and maintain senior client relationships, serving as a point of escalation
