Full job description

The VP, DSP Partnerships role at TripleLift is a senior leadership position based in New York City, responsible for building and managing a high-performing team focused on driving revenue growth through strategic partnerships with Demand-Side Platforms. The role involves relationship management, negotiation, team leadership, and collaboration with product, marketing, and sales teams. Candidates must have 12+ years in partnership management within ad tech, 7+ years programmatic experience, strong negotiation and leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the programmatic ecosystem. A bachelor's degree is required; MBA preferred. Compensation ranges from $250,000 to $325,000 USD, with benefits including medical, dental, vision, flexible PTO, and 401k with employer match.

What you'll do

  • Build and manage strong relationships with key DSP decision-makers
  • Negotiate and secure strategic partnerships with leading DSPs
  • Identify and close strategic upselling opportunities
  • Lead team to build account plans, measure share of wallet, run quarterly business reviews, and develop senior connections
  • Develop and execute collaborative partner business plans with monthly/quarterly reviews
  • Lead and mentor a team of DSP business managers
  • Oversee the engagement team to foster a healthy marketplace with each DSP
  • Own team revenue numbers and reporting; set goals and performance metrics aligned with corporate objectives
  • Analyze trends and leverage insights to ensure goals are met and escalate needs internally
  • Ensure team maintains deep understanding of programmatic landscape and emerging trends
  • Collaborate with product, marketing, and sales teams to craft go-to-market strategies for new DSP offerings

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in partnership management within the advertising technology industry
  • 7+ years of programmatic experience working with DSPs, SSPs, exchanges, or related technology
  • Proven track record of building and managing high-impact DSP partnerships
  • Deep understanding of the programmatic advertising ecosystem and DSP technology
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Data-driven and analytical mindset focused on measurable results
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Consultative approach to relationship-building with a results-driven mindset
  • Creative problem-solving skills to develop new ideas and revenue opportunities
  • Experience with programmatic digital advertising including display, CTV, audio, and video
  • Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred
