Full job description

Vice President of Commercial Operations responsible for leading commercial operational excellence globally. Role includes developing and executing commercial operations strategy, leading a Commercial Operations team, optimizing sales processes and CRM systems, acting as liaison to global sales teams, defining KPIs, partnering cross-functionally, optimizing sales planning and forecasting, integrating new technologies, and providing leadership and mentorship. Requires bachelor's degree (MBA preferred), extensive leadership experience in sales operations, strong analytical and communication skills, expert knowledge of CRM and BI tools, and proven ability to drive process improvements. Salary range $195,000 - $330,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Location: New York City, NY.

What you'll do

  • Develop and execute commercial operations strategy aligned with company objectives and global growth
  • Build and lead a high-performing Commercial Operations team
  • Oversee design, implementation, and optimization of sales processes, CRM systems, and tools
  • Act as communication bridge to global sales teams for strategy and process adoption
  • Define and implement KPIs for sales performance, pipeline health, and forecast reliability
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and BI teams for cross-functional alignment
  • Optimize sales planning, forecasting, budgeting, and quota-setting processes
  • Identify and integrate new technologies and processes to enhance sales productivity and customer experience
  • Provide strategic leadership, coaching, and mentorship to Commercial Operations team

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, economics, or a related field; MBA preferred
  • Significant leadership experience in Sales Operations or related commercial function
  • Proven track record of driving measurable success in sales operations
  • Experience leading and managing high-performing, geographically dispersed teams
  • Exceptional analytical skills with ability to translate complex data into actionable strategies
  • Expert-level knowledge of CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), sales enablement platforms, and BI tools
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Strong understanding of modern sales methodologies and process governance
  • Proven ability to drive large-scale process improvement and operational efficiency projects
