Full job description

DoubleVerify seeks a Vice President of Business Development – Activation to lead growth and expansion of activation solutions across Demand Side Platforms (DSPs). The role involves developing strategic partnerships, executing business development strategies, optimizing DSP integration processes, and identifying new revenue opportunities. Requires over 10 years of experience in business development or partnerships, strong knowledge of advertising technology, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and a bachelor's degree (MBA preferred). The position is full-time, on-site at the NYC Global HQ, with a salary range of $200,000 to $290,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you'll do

  • Develop trusted, value-added relationships with key counterparts across DV’s DSP partnership base
  • Identify and execute new DSP partnership opportunities based on client demand and revenue opportunity
  • Create and execute business development strategy and roadmap to assess current coverage and distribution of DV targeting solutions and drive incremental revenue streams
  • Assess and optimize internal processes related to management of DSP integrations including pricing, billing and product updates
  • Identify, secure, and manage partnerships with key stakeholders across the ecosystem including platforms, publishers, and vendors
  • Identify and develop new revenue-generating opportunities, build business cases and advocate with senior leadership
  • Adjust prioritization of workload to manage dynamic business needs including collaboration with DV Product and Commercial leadership
  • Represent DV’s value propositions, best practices, and viewpoints with industry associations, events, and speaking opportunities

Requirements

  • Over 10 years of demonstrated excellence in business development or partnership roles
  • Ability to establish trusted relationships, navigate a large partner organization, and drive strategic deals to a close under a tight timeline
  • Profound understanding of advertising technology, with preference for knowledge of verification, media mix modeling, and outcome measurement solutions
  • Proven track record of identifying, securing, and managing revenue-generating partnerships
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Experience partnering with product teams to jointly drive efforts forward
  • Strategic mindset with capacity to translate market insights into actionable strategies
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution (MBA preferred)
