Full job description

The Trade Desk seeks a mid-level programmatic advertising professional for a full-time role based in Hamburg or Munich. Responsibilities include strategic and consultative trading for advertiser portfolios, client advising on campaign planning and optimization, identifying growth opportunities, collaborating with internal teams, training clients on platform use, driving innovation, and using AI tools to enhance productivity. Candidates must have 3-5 years of experience in programmatic advertising, ad tech, or online marketing, strong analytical skills, client-facing consultative experience, and fluency in German and English.

What you'll do

  • Take on a strategic and consultative trading role in programmatic advertising for a portfolio of advertisers
  • Advise clients on campaign planning, measurement, and optimization
  • Identify growth opportunities and develop strategies supporting client goals and revenue growth
  • Work closely with Account Management and Business Development teams
  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights
  • Train new and existing clients on operational and strategic topics related to the platform
  • Drive innovation in programmatic advertising and share best practices
  • Use AI-enabled tools to improve productivity and efficiency
  • Experiment with new technologies and AI applications to improve team and client work

Requirements

  • Experience in programmatic advertising, ad tech, or online marketing
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work in a structured way and stay organized in dynamic, cross-functional environments
  • Comfortable in client-facing, consultative roles
  • Excellent written and spoken German and English
