Full job description

MiQ is seeking a senior Trading Manager for LATAM to lead the regional Trading team. Responsibilities include leading and developing Traders, managing campaign execution and optimization across multiple DSPs, ensuring campaigns meet KPIs and margin goals, handling pricing escalations, monitoring profitability, supporting RFPs and proposals, and driving best practices across LATAM. Requirements include 5+ years in programmatic trading or related fields, 2+ years managing teams, hands-on experience with DSPs like DV360, The Trade Desk, or Xandr, knowledge of pacing, bidding, optimization, and pricing models (CPM, CPCV, dCPM), strong analytical and communication skills, and intermediate to advanced English. Portuguese is a plus. Location is Bogota, Colombia.

What you'll do

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Traders across LATAM
  • Set team priorities, balance workloads, and ensure high standards in operational and analytical execution
  • Oversee campaign setup, QA, launch, pacing, and optimization across multiple DSPs
  • Ensure campaigns meet KPIs, margin goals, quality standards, and company policies
  • Act as an escalation point for pricing, custom rates, and special packages in partnership with Trading Leadership and Finance
  • Monitor campaign and portfolio profitability, adjusting delivery and performance as needed
  • Support RFPs, scoping, and client proposals with strong tactical recommendations and realistic investment levels
  • Partner with internal and client-facing teams to explain results, optimizations, and growth opportunities
  • Drive best practices, governance, documentation, and process consistency across LATAM

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in programmatic trading, ad operations, or performance marketing
  • At least 2 years leading teams or coordinating Traders
  • Strong hands-on experience with DSPs such as DV360, The Trade Desk, Xandr, or similar platforms
  • Solid understanding of pacing, bidding, optimization, segmentation, viewability, brand safety, and measurement
  • Experience with pricing models such as CPM, CPCV, dCPM, and performance-based buying
  • Strong analytical skills and advanced knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets
  • Clear communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Intermediate to advanced English; Portuguese is a plus
