Full job description Technical Architect role requiring 10+ years experience. Must have skills in databases (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, Azure SQL), data warehouses (Synapse Analytics, SnowFlake), ETL tools (Azure Data Factory, Databricks), cloud platforms (Azure), Python, Pyspark, UNIX shell scripting, and tools like SVN, GIT, JIRA, and automation workflows. Good to have skills include AWS/GCP cloud platforms, NoSQL databases, client-facing skills, and AI/ML integration. Responsibilities include designing data solutions using Azure, translating technical requirements into ETL/SQL code, documenting architecture, leading small teams, managing code and deployments, collaborating with QA and architecture teams, performing proof of concepts, and working with US-based teams during overlapping hours. Requires Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant field and professional cloud certification. Shift timing 12 PM to 9 PM IST.

Translate technical requirements into ETL/SQL application code
Document project architecture and create low to high level technical design documents
Engage with Project Managers, Business Analysts, and Application DBAs to implement ETL solutions
Perform mid to complex level tasks independently
Support clients, data scientists, and analytical consultants working on marketing solutions
Collaborate with cross-functional internal teams and external clients
Lead 1-2 projects with team size of 2-3 members
Manage code review, deployment, and code management systems
Work closely with QA/Testing team to identify and implement defect reduction initiatives
Ensure architecture standards and principles are followed during development
Perform proof of concepts on new platforms and validate proposed solutions
Establish and reinforce disciplined software development processes, standards, and error recovery procedures
Understand and apply software development methodologies including waterfall and agile
Distribute and manage SQL development work across the team
Work during overlapping hours with US-based teams for effective collaboration Requirements 10+ years of experience Experience with databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, Azure SQL Experience with data warehouses like Synapse Analytics, SnowFlake Experience with ETL tools (two or more) such as Azure Data Factory, Databricks Experience with cloud platforms, especially Azure Proficiency in Python, Pyspark, UNIX shell scripting Experience with version control and project management tools like SVN, GIT, JIRA Experience with automation workflows like Azure Data Factory, Apache Airflow, Tidal, Tivoli or similar Good to have: experience with AWS/GCP cloud platforms Good to have: familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB Good to have: client-facing skills Good to have: familiarity with AI/ML integration into data architectures Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering or related field Professional certification in cloud technologies, preferably Azure Data Engineer Willingness to work overlapping hours with US-based teams (approx. 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM IST) Tech stack SQL Server Oracle MySQL Azure SQL Synapse Analytics SnowFlake Azure Data Factory Databricks Azure Python Pyspark UNIX shell scripting SVN GIT JIRA Apache Airflow Tidal Tivoli Redshift MongoDB AWS Glue AWS Lambda Amazon Kinesis Amazon Firehose Cloud Data Fusion Dataflow Dataproc Pub/Sub Composer Cloud Functions Cloud Run DBT Talend Informatica IICS Visio PowerPoint MS Office
