Full job description

Lead technical delivery and implementation of AEM Forms projects. Responsibilities include migration from Adobe LiveCycle/JEE/XFA to Adaptive Forms and AEM as a Cloud Service, implementing workflows, Adobe Sign integrations, and document services. Mentor developers and coordinate with architects, QA, integration, and DevOps teams. Requires 8+ years in enterprise web/forms/workflow platforms, 5+ years hands-on AEM Forms experience, expertise in Adaptive Forms, workflows, Java/J2EE, Sling, OSGi, REST/SOAP, and Agile delivery. Experience with security, PII, accessibility, and backend system integrations (CRM, ERP) is essential.

What you'll do

  • Lead day-to-day technical delivery of projects built on AEM Forms and AEM (Sites + Forms)
  • Act as a hands-on lead developer / technical lead for AEM Forms implementations
  • Define and execute migration strategies from Adobe LiveCycle / AEM Forms on JEE / XFA-based solutions to Adaptive Forms and AEM Forms as a Cloud Service, under architect guidance
  • Translate business processes into AEM Forms and AEM Workflow–driven solutions, including human tasks, approvals, and system orchestration
  • Implement Adaptive Forms, form fragments, rules, themes, document services, and workflows
  • Implement and manage Adobe Sign integrations within AEM Forms solutions, including signing workflows and backend orchestration
  • Work closely with Architects to implement end-to-end solutions, following approved architecture and migration approach
  • Support workflow re-engineering, replacing manual or legacy processes with automated AEM Forms workflows
  • Mentor developers, conduct code and design reviews, and enforce best practices
  • Handle technical discussions with clients, clarify requirements, and provide solution walkthroughs
  • Support estimations, technical analysis, PoCs, and defect resolution
  • Coordinate with QA, integration, and DevOps teams to ensure smooth releases

Requirements

  • 8+ years of overall experience in enterprise web, forms, document, or workflow platforms
  • 5+ years of strong hands-on experience with AEM Forms
  • Hands-on expertise in Adaptive Forms, Form Fragments, Rules Editor, Themes and custom styling
  • Working experience with AEM Forms workflows and AEM Workflow Engine
  • Practical experience with AEM Forms on JEE and/or Adobe LiveCycle, including XFA-based forms
  • Proven experience supporting migration from LiveCycle / JEE / XFA-based forms to Adaptive Forms and Cloud Service
  • Understanding of security, PII handling, and accessibility (WCAG) considerations for forms
  • Strong experience converting business processes into forms-driven workflows
  • Hands-on experience with Document Services (PDF services, document generation, correspondence/communication management)
  • Mandatory experience integrating AEM Forms with Adobe Sign, including signing flows and workflow coordination
  • Solid understanding of Java/J2EE, Sling, OSGi, and REST/SOAP integrations
  • Experience integrating AEM Forms with enterprise backend systems (CRM, ERP, Core systems)
  • Exposure to AEM as a Cloud Service and Cloud Manager pipelines
  • Experience working in Agile delivery teams
  • Comfortable interacting with clients for technical clarifications and solution walkthroughs
