The Trade Desk is seeking a senior software engineer with 11+ years of experience to join the User Trail team in London. The team owns the analytics and observability platform capturing user interactions across core web applications. Responsibilities include setting technical direction for data access tools, solving complex multi-area platform problems, anticipating scaling needs, improving team processes, influencing decisions with ROI focus, sharing expertise, and partnering with cross-functional teams. Candidates should have deep expertise in backend services or data-intensive systems such as event pipelines, data warehouses, lakehouse platforms, or SDK development. Strong communication skills and ability to mentor others are required. A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience is preferred. The role is full-time and on-site in London.
