The Trade Desk is seeking a senior software engineer with 11+ years of experience to lead technical direction for the User Trail analytics and observability platform. The role involves solving complex problems across multiple platform areas, anticipating scaling needs, improving team processes, and partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver data products. Candidates should have deep expertise in backend services or data-intensive systems such as event pipelines, data warehouses, lakehouse platforms, or SDK development. Strong communication skills, ability to influence without authority, and motivation to mentor others are required. A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience is preferred. The position is full-time and located in London.
