Staff Software Engineer role focused on technical leadership for Forecasting and Recommendations platforms with emphasis on production-grade AI and agentic systems. Responsibilities include designing, building, and operating high-throughput, low-latency distributed backend systems and AI application architecture. Accountable for reliability, observability, and operational excellence. Requires 12+ years experience in production-grade distributed systems, strong ownership of business-critical services, expertise in systems design, machine learning-driven systems, AWS, Kubernetes, containerized microservices, CI/CD, and backend languages such as Python, Java, Go, or Scala. Must have experience with AI-assisted development tools and workflows. Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Mathematics, or related field required.
What you'll do
Design, build, and operate systems supporting forecasting, recommendations, and agentic AI workflows in production
Write production-quality code daily; own services end-to-end from design through on-call and incident resolution
