Full job description

Seeking an experienced Product Manager for Unity Ads Product team focused on publisher-facing products to protect and grow the ads network. Responsibilities include leading ad quality product strategy, driving privacy initiatives beyond compliance, supporting trust and safety efforts, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and evaluating market trends and innovation opportunities. Requirements include product management experience in AdTech, knowledge of privacy, ad quality, creative moderation, ad policies, sell-side ads ecosystem, strong leadership and analytical skills, and familiarity with AI and SQL. Preferred experience with programmatic advertising, exchange technology, supply-side platforms, and global privacy regulations. Position is full-time, senior level, based in New York, NY, USA. Salary range $157,800 to $236,800 USD. No relocation or visa sponsorship available. What you'll do

  • Collaborate with product leadership to craft and articulate the long-term vision and strategy for ad quality, privacy, and trust & safety, driving alignment across teams and stakeholders
  • Own and shape the product roadmap, ensuring it delivers business impact and customer value
  • Own the strategy for the ad quality product, driving improvements that ensure publisher trust including creative moderation, ad policy enforcement, and fraud prevention
  • Lead efforts to make ad quality more accessible and scalable for all publishers across the network
  • Drive a proactive privacy strategy that goes beyond compliance, evaluating the evolving global regulatory landscape and finding opportunities to turn privacy into a growth lever
  • Lead evaluations of market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes; size future opportunities, perform in-depth analysis, and provide recommendations influencing strategic direction and roadmap prioritization
  • Collaborate with the Data Platform team to identify opportunities for improving models, reporting, and workflows ensuring data infrastructure and insights are accurate and drive meaningful outcomes
  • Work closely with product and engineering leadership to identify high-impact growth opportunities, build alignment, and advocate for investments in key product initiatives
  • Continuously assess the health and performance of the ad network, track market trends, adapt to shifts, identify risks, opportunities, and proactive strategies to navigate changes

Requirements

  • Previous experience working as a product manager in AdTech
  • Experience in one or more of the following: privacy/identity, ad quality, creative moderation, or ad policies
  • Understanding of the sell-side (publisher) ads ecosystem; buy-side/advertiser experience is a strong plus
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and execution skills with exceptional written and verbal communication
  • Strong analytical and technical knowledge - understanding complex systems and working with very technical colleagues
  • Passion for solving complex technical issues with an understanding of how great products work behind the scenes
  • Curiosity and initiative around leveraging AI in product development workflows
  • Knowledge and hands-on SQL experience (preferred)
  • Experience with programmatic advertising, exchange technology, or supply-side platforms (preferred)
  • Familiarity with the evolving global privacy and data regulation landscape (preferred)
  • Demand expertise and how data production can influence value to advertisers (preferred)
