Full job description

The Trade Desk seeks a senior Staff Product Manager for Infrastructure to lead development of scalable, secure, and high-performance global platform systems including on-prem compute, storage, and GPU architectures. The role requires 5+ years of product management experience in infrastructure, security, or platform domains. Responsibilities include owning the modernization roadmap, collaborating with engineering and business teams, and delivering enterprise-grade infrastructure supporting trillions of queries daily. Candidates must have strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with experience in scalable system design, data fluency, and stakeholder management. What you'll do

  • Spearhead development and expansion of global platform foundational technologies including on-prem compute, storage solutions, and GPU architectures
  • Own the roadmap for modernizing platform core systems
  • Work closely with engineering and operations teams to install, optimize, and evolve on-prem environments
  • Architect high-availability compute clusters and coordinate multi-tiered storage
  • Integrate latest GPU advancements to meet business demands
  • Partner across engineering, product, business teams, and external vendors to understand technical requirements and operational challenges
  • Translate complex infrastructure needs into actionable strategies
  • Deliver solutions maximizing reliability, performance, and efficiency
  • Enable teams to build innovative products at scale
  • Deliver enterprise-grade infrastructure that is resilient, flexible, and optimized for growth

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Product Management experience, ideally in infrastructure, security, or platform domains
  • Ability to define and drive long-term roadmaps for secure, scalable systems supporting enterprise-grade reliability and protection
  • Experience partnering with internal teams such as engineering, product, and business to understand platform needs and translate them into impactful product capabilities
  • Proven ability to lead and influence across all roles and leadership
  • Comfortable interpreting telemetry, audit logs, and performance metrics to inform product decisions and improve system observability
  • Experience designing and evolving infrastructure that supports high availability, fault tolerance, and secure multi-tenant environments
  • Strong communication skills to translate technical concepts into clear, actionable narratives for executives, engineers, and cross-functional partners
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity, making trade-offs, and driving progress in fast-paced, high-stakes environments
  • Passion for building trusted and reliable systems
  • Grit and iterative problem-solving skills
