The Trade Desk seeks a senior product manager with 7+ years experience (including 2+ in ad tech or 4+ in related fields like high-frequency trading, fintech, or marketplace pricing) to lead the Budget & Pacing system product strategy and execution. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams (engineering, UX, applied science, CS, BD, GTM, PMM) to manage campaign budgets and pacing algorithms that handle 20M queries per second. Candidates must have technical depth to engage with algorithm design and control systems, understand the full campaign lifecycle, and have experience shipping complex production systems impacting financial outcomes. Responsibilities include owning the pacing engine, partnering on bidding algorithms, managing feature intake, building roadmaps from customer input, and defining pacing quality metrics.
