Full job description

InMobi Advertising is hiring a Staff Machine Learning Manager to build and lead the ML function for Accelerate. The role involves owning the entire ML stack, from defining the roadmap to hiring the team and shipping models into production. Responsibilities include building optimization models for cross-channel budget allocation, bid optimization, multi-touch attribution, performance forecasting, audience intelligence, and creative performance prediction. Candidates must have 8+ years in ML/Data Science with at least 1 year in a tech lead or management role, strong ML expertise in areas such as optimization algorithms, recommender systems, time-series forecasting, causal inference, reinforcement learning, or auction/marketplace ML, and hands-on experience architecting ML systems and shipping production models. Ads/MarTech domain experience is a strong plus. The role is full-time based in Bangalore, India. What you'll do

  • Build and lead the ML function for Accelerate
  • Own the entire ML stack from roadmap definition to hiring and shipping models into production
  • Architect and build foundational ML capabilities for cross-channel intelligence that autonomously optimizes marketing spend
  • Build cross-channel budget allocation engine optimizing aggregate ROAS
  • Develop bid optimization and spend pacing algorithms across platforms
  • Build multi-touch attribution models and incrementality testing frameworks
  • Predict campaign performance and build anomaly detection for underperforming campaigns
  • Build audience segmentation and lookalike modeling across channel boundaries
  • Predict creative asset performance and identify creative fatigue signals
  • Work closely with engineering leadership, product, data engineering, and platform engineering teams

Requirements

  • 8+ years in ML/Data Science
  • At least 1 year in a tech lead or management role building and shipping ML systems in production
  • Strong ML breadth with depth in at least one of: optimization algorithms, recommender systems, time-series forecasting, causal inference, reinforcement learning, or auction/marketplace ML
  • Hands-on technical leader: able to architect ML systems, review model code, and mentor engineers
  • Production ML experience: taken models from research to production, dealt with data quality issues, understands gap between offline metrics and business impact
  • Ads/MarTech domain experience is a strong plus: bid optimization, budget allocation, attribution, audience targeting, or media mix modeling at an ad platform, DSP, or marketing platform
