Full job description
Zeta Global seeks a senior software engineer with 10+ years experience to own vertical web applications from idea to production. Responsibilities include backend architecture (Python, Java, Ruby, Node.js), frontend development (React, TypeScript, Ant Design), continuous delivery via CI/CD, and integrating AI-assisted development tools. Candidate must have strong communication skills, experience with scalable distributed systems, multi-tenant compliant environments, and AI-assisted coding tools. Tech stack includes AWS, Kubernetes, MySQL, Redis, Snowflake, Kafka, and more. Benefits include unlimited PTO, medical/dental/vision coverage, equity, and wellness perks. Salary range $200,000 - $220,000. Location: New York, NY.
What you'll do
- Own vertical web applications from idea to production
- Work closely with product owners to define problems and design architecture
- Architect backend services focusing on simplicity and reusability
- Build polished frontend experiences in React/TypeScript/Ant Design System
- Ship continuously and confidently through CI/CD with observability, resilience, and reliability
- Use AI-assisted development tools as part of workflow
- Integrate AI/LLM capabilities into vertical applications
- Collaborate across teams, mentor engineers, lead technical initiatives, and communicate complex decisions
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience
- History of owning and operating the systems you build
- Deep proficiency in at least two of Python, Java, Ruby, or Node.js
- Solid React/TypeScript skills on the frontend
- Experience with continuous delivery, test-driven development, agile and shift-left practices
- Comfortable building and operating scalable, distributed, high performant systems
- Experience navigating multi-tenant, compliant environments
- Experience using AI-assisted coding tools (Cursor, Claude Code, Gemini, Codex, or similar)
- Strong communication skills
- Experience working directly with product owners and cross-team collaboration
