Full job description
Moloco is seeking a senior Staff Data Scientist for its Growth Data Science team. The role involves partnering with advertisers, sales, product, and engineering teams to maximize the effectiveness of Moloco Ads. Responsibilities include strategic advertiser engagement, advising on campaign optimization, translating insights into product roadmap signals, building scalable activation frameworks, influencing product strategy, and leading global frameworks for product activation. Requirements include a bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline, 8+ years of relevant experience, strong statistical and programming skills (Python, SQL, BigQuery preferred), excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, and demonstrated leadership and project ownership. Preferred qualifications include advanced degrees, ad tech or programmatic advertising experience, and familiarity with mobile app ecosystems and incrementality testing. Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline (Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, Physics, or equivalent practical experience)
8+ years in data science, analytics, or a closely related quantitative field, with significant time in a customer-facing or product-facing IC capacity
Strong foundation in experimental design, hypothesis testing, regression, and causal inference methods
Proficiency in Python and SQL
Experience with large-scale data platforms (e.g., BigQuery) preferred
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Ability to distill complex technical concepts into clear recommendations for non-technical audiences up to C-level
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain credibility with cross-functional partners across product, engineering, sales, and GTM functions
Proven ability to own projects end-to-end in ambiguous problem spaces, driving them to measurable outcomes
Demonstrated self-direction and senior-level judgment
Comfortable operating without a playbook and building one where none exists
