The Trade Desk is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to develop features for Android-based mobile and TV platforms. Responsibilities include designing and implementing new features, writing Kotlin code with Coroutines and Jetpack Compose, collaborating with product managers and engineers, participating in code reviews and architecture discussions, mentoring junior engineers, and improving performance and reliability. Requirements include strong Android SDK knowledge, Kotlin proficiency, experience with Jetpack Compose, architecture patterns (MVI, Repository, Use Cases), version control (Git), CI/CD, testing frameworks, communication skills, mentoring ability, familiarity with Kotlin Multiplatform and dependency injection frameworks (Metro, Hilt, Dagger), and experience with performance optimization, accessibility, and analytics. The role is full-time, senior level, located in New York, with a salary range of $137,300 to $251,800 USD.
