The Trade Desk is seeking a mid-level Programmatic Trader to manage day-to-day trading for a portfolio of accounts, support senior traders, and develop trading strategies. Responsibilities include client training, onboarding, account growth, and collaboration with internal teams. Candidates must have extensive programmatic advertising experience, strong client-facing and communication skills, effective time management, analytical and troubleshooting abilities, and a passion for data insights. Location: Paris, France. Full-time position.

What you'll do

  • Handle day-to-day trading efforts for a portfolio of accounts, supporting Senior Traders
  • Partner with business team members to add product knowledge and develop trading strategies
  • Own numerous accounts independently and identify opportunities to grow accounts
  • Train new and existing clients in platform operations and onboard new clients
  • Develop expertise in product offerings and act as internal resource
  • Pursue ways to grow client business through value-added services (savings analyses, campaign planning, performance measurement, marketing funnel approach)
  • Assist Senior Traders in onboarding and developing newer traders
  • Provide additional value through cultural contributions, collaboration, case study development, beta testing, and feedback to product team
  • Communicate complex concepts clearly across audiences with varying expertise

Requirements

  • Extensive experience within programmatic advertising
  • Client-facing experience, building and developing relationships
  • Strong communication skills, able to collaborate effectively and lead junior team members
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas simply and clearly
  • Effective time management skills with ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical abilities
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a dynamic environment
  • Strong quantitative skills and passion for mining insights from large datasets
