Full job description
Senior Software Engineer II role at Rockerbox, part of DV, focused on technical ownership of data platform components. Responsibilities include leading execution between data foundation and semantic layer, designing scalable solutions, architecting data endpoints, implementing monitoring and data-quality checks, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Requires 7+ years software engineering experience, expertise in API and semantic layer design, mastery of datalake and warehouse technologies (Parquet, DuckDB, S3, Iceberg, Snowflake), proficiency in Python or Go and SQL, experience with AI tools, monitoring, observability, and Kubernetes. Benefits include bonus/commission, equity, and other benefits. Location is New York City, on-site.
