Viant seeks a Senior Software Engineer to join the Potens team to evolve Magnus and Goliath platforms. This full-stack role involves modernizing production systems and developing AI-powered capabilities across Java and Go backend services, JavaScript frontends, data platforms, and AI technologies. Responsibilities include maintaining Magnus Java apps and REST APIs, supporting backend Java and Go, building AI features with LLMs and MCP, integrating with BigQuery, MySQL, and GCP, diagnosing production issues, building automated tests, and owning projects end to end. Preferred skills include MCP development, Go, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, MySQL optimization, CI/CD with GitHub Actions, Python, and Java 8 ecosystem tools. Benefits include fully paid health insurance, paid parental leave, and unlimited PTO. Salary range is $150,000 to $180,000. Locations: Irvine and Los Angeles, California, USA.
