Full job description

The Trade Desk is seeking mid-level full stack engineers to join the SWAT team focused on dynamic problem solving and rapid delivery of customer value. Responsibilities include troubleshooting complex systems, building tooling to ease troubleshooting, identifying root causes of issues, and collaborating with stakeholders to implement solutions. Candidates should have strong communication skills, be eager to learn new technologies such as C#, T-SQL, Vertica, and React, and be able to assess business value to prioritize work. The role is based in Singapore.

What you'll do

  • Care deeply about improving customer experience, both internal and external
  • Chase down problems, find root causes and work with stakeholders to creatively effect optimal solutions
  • Operate outside areas of expertise and eagerly learn along the way
  • Discover and understand highly technical issues and communicate them to non-technical people

Requirements

  • Enjoy troubleshooting complex systems and building tooling to make troubleshooting easier
  • Ability to detect subtle but serious dangers in flawed designs
  • Strong communication skills with developers and non-technical stakeholders
  • Eager to learn new languages and tools quickly
  • Adept at assessing business value and prioritizing efforts
