Full job description
The Trade Desk is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for their Network Team to design, build, and scale a global network platform across datacenters and multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Alibaba Cloud). The role involves supporting large-scale production infrastructure, troubleshooting complex network issues, leading root cause analysis, automating workflows, and participating in a global on-call rotation. Candidates must have 6-8 years of network automation and operational experience, strong software development skills, deep knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, Kubernetes networking (Cilium, Calico), software load balancers (NGINX, Envoy, HAProxy), advanced networking technologies (IPv6, SDN, QoS), and experience with network OS (SONiC, Cisco IOS, JunOS, Arista EOS, Nokia SR Linux). Proficiency in Python or Go and experience integrating AI tools into engineering processes is required. The role emphasizes infrastructure-as-code, DevOps, and SRE principles.
