Full job description

The Trade Desk is seeking a Senior Enterprise Salesforce Engineer to lead design, development, and optimization of the Salesforce Sales Cloud platform. Responsibilities include owning technical design and development, architecting Apex and LWC components, building integrations, driving automation, collaborating with cross-functional teams, enforcing best practices, leading projects, mentoring junior engineers, and maintaining code quality. Requirements include a BS degree in an engineering discipline, 8+ years Salesforce engineering experience focused on Sales Cloud, expertise in Apex, SOQL, LWC, Flows, data model design, triggers, batch jobs, asynchronous processing, experience with RESTful API integrations, and strong communication skills. Preferred experience includes Salesforce CPQ, Contract Lifecycle Management, and Salesforce-native AI tools. The role offers a salary range of $103,200 to $189,200 USD and comprehensive benefits including healthcare, retirement plans, disability coverage, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, parental leave, paid time off, stock purchase plans, and variable incentives. Location: Bellevue, Washington, United States.

What you'll do

  • Own technical design and end-to-end development within Salesforce Sales Cloud
  • Architect and implement scalable, reusable Apex components, LWC components and design patterns
  • Build and maintain integrations with internal systems and third-party platforms
  • Drive automation across opportunity lifecycle, sales processes, and approvals
  • Collaborate with Product and Sales teams to translate business needs into reliable technical solutions
  • Review and enforce best practices around security, governor limits, and test coverage
  • Lead technical projects across sprint cycles, providing mentorship to junior engineers
  • Maintain high code quality through peer reviews and CI/CD processes

Requirements

  • BS degree in Engineering related discipline
  • 8+ years of experience as a Salesforce Engineer focused on Sales Cloud
  • Deep expertise in Apex, SOQL, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Flows
  • Strong understanding of data model design, triggers, batch jobs, and asynchronous processing
  • Proven track record of shipping production-grade code at scale
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with RESTful APIs and internal services
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
