Full job description

The Trade Desk is seeking a Senior Director of Product Management to lead and deliver key parts of Ventura OS, a next-generation Connected TV platform. This role requires 10+ years of product management experience with ownership of complex consumer-facing or platform products. Responsibilities include leading product strategy, owning the full product lifecycle, navigating ambiguity in a 0→1 environment, partnering cross-functionally, driving data-informed decisions, and mentoring product managers. Preferred experience includes familiarity with Connected TV, OTT platforms, or digital media ecosystems. What you'll do

  • Lead strategy and execution for a major area of Ventura OS (e.g., discovery, personalization, platform services, monetization)
  • Translate high-level vision into clear product direction, roadmaps, and prioritized initiatives
  • Own the full product lifecycle from concept and definition through launch, measurement, and iteration
  • Navigate ambiguity, test new ideas, and build scalable solutions in a fast-moving, startup-like environment
  • Work closely with engineering, research, design, data science, and business teams to bring products to life
  • Build intuitive, engaging consumer experiences across streaming and TV interfaces
  • Use analytics, experimentation, and insights to inform product direction and measure success
  • Mentor product managers and help elevate product thinking, execution, and impact across the team

Requirements

  • 10+ years in product management including ownership of complex, consumer-facing or platform products
  • Ability to think beyond features and design scalable, extensible product systems
  • Proven track record of shipping products from concept to launch in fast-paced environments
  • Comfortable working closely with engineers and understanding system architecture and tradeoffs
  • Strong ability to align and drive cross-functional teams without direct authority
  • Deeply analytical with ability to turn data into actionable insights
  • Excited by undefined problems and able to create clarity and momentum
  • Familiarity with Connected TV, OTT platforms, or digital media ecosystems is a plus
