Software Engineer role on the SEAM team building audience, identity, and measurement services for advertising platforms. Responsibilities include developing software, automation, analytics, and cloud optimization solutions to improve cost visibility, infrastructure efficiency, developer productivity, and operational reliability. Collaborate with Engineering, Finance, Product, Architecture, Data, Platform, and SRE teams. Required skills: 3+ years software engineering experience with languages such as Python, Go, Java, JavaScript/Node.js, Rust, or Scala; experience with major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI) and cloud cost management; knowledge of CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code tools; experience with microservices, containers, orchestration platforms; strong SQL and data analytics platform experience; ability to analyze technical and financial data and communicate with stakeholders. Preferred experience includes adtech, FinOps, cloud cost optimization, and AI-assisted engineering. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required. Salary range $109,759.26 - $164,638.89. Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to technical and nontechnical stakeholders, including expected business value, implementation tradeoffs, risks, and realized savings
Contribute to continuous improvement by reducing technical debt, simplifying operational workflows, sharing reusable patterns, and coaching teammates on cost-conscious engineering practices
Stay current on cloud cost-management practices, AI capabilities, data platforms, and engineering productivity tools; prototype and evaluate technologies that can improve operational efficiency

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Data Science, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
3+ years of hands-on software engineering experience using languages such as Python, Go, Java, JavaScript/Node.js, Rust, or Scala
Experience with at least one major cloud provider—AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI—and working knowledge of cloud billing, resource tagging, usage metrics, or cost-management concepts
Knowledge of CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Terraform, or equivalent technologies
Experience with microservices, containers, and orchestration platforms such as Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, or OKE
Strong SQL skills and exposure to data and analytics platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, Spark, Presto, EMR, PostgreSQL, or Aerospike
Experience building dashboards, automated reporting, data pipelines, or observability solutions using tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, ELK, Grafana, or business intelligence platforms
Ability to analyze technical and financial data, quantify tradeoffs, debug scoped issues, and turn findings into practical engineering actions
Strong collaboration and communication skills
Ability to contribute in a fast-paced agile environment while balancing delivery, reliability, security, cost, and maintainability
