Software Engineer II

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain high-performance backend systems for programmatic SSP
• Build and optimize server-side logic for low latency, high reliability, and large-scale data processing
• Work in Linux-based environment with end-to-end responsibility for development, deployment, and monitoring
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams using Agile methodologies
• Ensure system stability, accuracy, and uptime
• Leverage Redis and Aerospike for data storage and caching at scale
• Use Git for version control and CI/CD tools for automated deployment
• Participate in rotating on-call schedule to support production operations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 5 years backend development experience
• 5 years experience with Node.js and PHP
• 5 years experience building and maintaining distributed applications
• 5 years experience with SSH, Linux, and network protocols
• 5 years experience with MySQL and Vertica databases
• 5 years experience with Kafka
• 5 years experience with version control systems such as Git or GitLab CI/CD
• 5 years experience with Agile development process
• 5 years experience with product troubleshooting and support
• 3 years experience with IAB OpenRTB spec and VAST
• 3 years experience with KeyDB, Redis, and Aerospike
• 3 years experience with Datadog or Grafana metrics observability
• 3 years experience with Adtech SSP systems including RTB, auction dynamics, and performance tuning
