Full job description
FreeWheel, a Comcast company, seeks a mid-level software engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable platforms for advertising measurement across digital and linear channels. The role involves working with cloud platforms (AWS, OCI, Azure, GCP), programming languages (GoLang, Python, Java, JavaScript), container orchestration (Kubernetes), databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQLite), and CI/CD tools. Responsibilities include building measurement infrastructure, applying attribution models, creating APIs and user interfaces, supporting product capabilities like universal pixel and conversion APIs, and ensuring software scalability and maintainability. Requires 3+ years programming experience with GoLang, experience with microservices and cloud providers, strong SQL skills, and ability to work in agile teams. Location: Chicago, Illinois. Salary range: $109,759.26 - $164,638.89.
