Innovid seeks a mid-level full-time software engineer with 3+ years of back-end development experience to design, develop, and maintain core backend systems. The role involves building scalable, high-performance applications, collaborating with engineers and product managers, and deploying code continuously. Required skills include proficiency in Java, Scala, Python, PHP, or Javascript frameworks (Angular, React, Node.js), experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, cloud-based SaaS products, and handling large-scale performance and database issues. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential. Nice to have experience includes Docker, Kubernetes, open-source contributions, and front-end development with React and TypeScript. What you'll do

  • Participate in designing and developing Innovid’s products in multiple technologies, no code ownership environment
  • Design and develop modules for a high-end product that serves billions of transactions a day
  • Deploy code to production continuously
  • Be responsible for the well-being of applications in production
  • Work with product managers to define, prioritize and finalize features
  • Carry out full stack, end to end development
  • Oversee the Design Process for Application Software

Requirements

  • 3+ years of back-end software development experience in highly dynamic environments
  • Proficiency in any of Java, Scala, Python, PHP, Javascript (Angular, React and Node.js)
  • Advanced English (speaking, reading, writing and listening)
  • Advanced student or graduate in computer science or a related discipline
  • Experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs
  • Experience with large scale performance issues and database work
  • Experience with Microservices architecture and implementation
  • Experience with the development of online, cloud based SaaS products
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Understanding of design and production procedures and standards
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
