Full job description
Kargo is hiring a Senior Engineer to design and build distributed services for their Workflow Platform modernization. The role involves owning projects end-to-end, improving platform health, using AI-assisted development tools, conducting code reviews, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and mentoring junior engineers. Candidates should have 5-8 years of software engineering experience, strong skills in TypeScript or Golang, knowledge of distributed systems, experience with microservices, async messaging (Kafka, Pub/Sub), CI/CD, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure), and AI coding tools. A B.S. or higher in Computer Science or related fields is required. The position is full-time, based in New York, NY, with a salary range of $185,000 to $200,000 USD plus variable compensation.
