Samba TV is hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer to build and maintain customer-facing platforms, internal tools, APIs, and services. The role involves working across the stack including frontend, backend, data pipelines, and cloud infrastructure. Responsibilities include owning features end-to-end, writing analytical SQL on large datasets, designing data pipelines and caching layers, managing auth models across Firebase, Auth0, and Firestore, and handling multi-cloud integrations (GCP and AWS). The engineer must ensure high standards for testing, observability, and reliability, participate in architecture reviews, contribute to the technical roadmap, and mentor junior engineers. Requirements include 5-8 years of production software experience, strong TypeScript/JavaScript skills, backend API development experience, advanced SQL skills (BigQuery preferred), cloud infrastructure experience, familiarity with distributed systems patterns, and proficiency in agentic development with LLM-powered workflows. Nice to have experience includes React, Firebase platform, GCP/AWS, ad tech, audience measurement, and CTV/OTT platforms. The position is full-time based in San Francisco, California, with a salary range of $160,000 to $200,000 per year plus benefits including health insurance, wellness programs, life and disability insurance, retirement plan, paid holidays, PTO, and bonuses.
