Full job description

Seeking a Senior Software Engineer to contribute to ads UX and infrastructure for ads serving at Microsoft. Responsibilities include collaborating with Design/PM teams on UX design, building rendering UX libraries across platforms, and analyzing system performance to improve the ads stack. Requires Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with 4+ years experience coding in C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, or equivalent experience. Preferred experience includes 3+ years coding in JavaScript/TypeScript, building production UI with frameworks like React.js, WebComponents, Vue.js, or Angular, and experience with complex web applications across multiple environments and regions. Position is full-time, on-site in Redmond, WA. Salary range USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year, higher in SF Bay Area and NYC.

What you'll do

  • Work with Design/PM/partner teams to come up with suitable UX design
  • Build versatile rendering UX package/library on various platforms
  • Use data processing and monitoring system to analyze system performance and drive improvement on full ads stack

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience
  • 3+ years technical engineering experience with coding in JavaScript or TypeScript
  • 3+ years experience building production UI with modern frameworks such as React.js, WebComponents, Vue.js or Angular
  • Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience
  • Experience building, maintaining and debugging complex web applications across dev, staging, and production environments, including multi-region, multilingual, cross-platform, and multi-component systems
