Full job description

Lead development of an ML-based online advertising platform for retail media. Design and optimize data infrastructure and pipelines for scalable, cost-effective solutions. Mentor team members and lead projects. Develop complex ETL processes and improve data quality and governance. Enhance system scalability, availability, and performance. Collaborate cross-functionally with Infrastructure, Machine Learning, Data Science, Analytics, and Production teams. Require 6+ years software engineering experience with modern languages (Java, C#, Go, C++, Python), strong SQL/NoSQL skills, cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), system design expertise, and knowledge of big data processing. Ads infrastructure experience is a plus.   • Tech lead a small team on high-impact projects

Requirements

  • 6+ years of software engineering experience using modern languages such as Java, C#, Go, C++, Python
  • Foundational SQL knowledge with proficiency in SQL or NoSQL database technologies
  • Experience with computer systems architecture, operating systems, or distributed systems
  • Extensive experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) or equivalent on-premise systems
  • Strong programming fundamentals, testing practices, and knowledge of common algorithms and data structures
  • System design and development skills in large-scale environments
  • Experience with data modeling, analytics, data management, or big data processing/MapReduce
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in ambiguous or evolving environments
  • Growth mindset with continuous learning and knowledge sharing
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills
  • Hands-on experience in ads infrastructure (bidding, pacing, budget optimization, or measurement) at large revenue scale is a plus
