Full job description
Raptive is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for the Ad Code Core Engineering team to build and evolve high-performance JavaScript and TypeScript libraries for advertising across thousands of publisher sites. Responsibilities include developing scalable advertising features, leading projects from concept to delivery, owning the full development lifecycle, collaborating with cross-functional teams, integrating AI tools into development workflows, and advocating for strong engineering practices. Candidates must have strong experience in JavaScript, TypeScript, AI integration, web technologies, and AdTech ecosystem knowledge. The role requires leadership skills, ownership, and the ability to manage ambiguity. Salary range is $165,000-$200,000 with additional incentives. Location: New York, NY.

Requirements
Strong professional experience with JavaScript and TypeScript and modern software development practices
Passion for maintainable code, automated testing, performance, and thoughtful software architecture
Extensive experience integrating AI into day-to-day software development
Ability to independently navigate ambiguous problems, develop a technical approach, and drive projects through completion
Strong understanding of web technologies, including browser behavior, performance, debugging, and web APIs
Strong sense of ownership and accountability, including proactive communication with stakeholders
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Experience applying software design patterns and engineering best practices thoughtfully
Ability to understand business objectives and make engineering decisions balancing impact, effort, risk, and maintainability
Experience leading significant projects or features from concept through launch and measuring results
Experience working in AdTech or strong understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem
Experience with technologies such as header bidding, Prebid.js, Google Ad Manager, identity, regulatory, or programmatic advertising is a plus
