Full job description

Integral Ad Science (IAS) is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to develop and maintain the Total Visibility data pipeline handling millions of events. The role involves architecting, designing, building, and integrating core ad analytics products end to end. Responsibilities include leading the software lifecycle, mentoring team members, collaborating with Product and stakeholders to gather requirements, developing APIs, and managing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Requirements include a BS in Computer Science or related STEM degree, 5+ years programming experience in Python, 2+ years with big data technologies such as Spark and Kafka, expert knowledge of Python and/or Java, experience with AWS services (EMR, Athena, EKS, MSK), and strong communication skills. Experience in client/vendor facing roles, team leadership, and AdTech is a plus. Location: Dublin, Ireland.

What you'll do

  • Architect, design, build and integrate core ad analytics products end to end
  • Lead entire software lifecycle including development, code reviews, testing, deployment, and documentation
  • Mentor the team
  • Partner with Product team and other stakeholders to understand product and business requirements
  • Research and develop solutions including API development
  • Manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Requirements

  • BS in Computer Science or related STEM degree
  • 5+ years of hands-on programming experience using Python
  • 2+ years of experience working with big-data stack, including Spark and Kafka
  • Expert knowledge of Python and/or Java (collections, multi-threading, JVM memory model, etc.)
  • Experience with AWS tech stack including EMR, Athena, EKS, MSK
  • Experience partnering with Product and other stakeholders to meet business deliverables
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
