Full job description

Seeking a Technical Lead with 5-9 years experience to architect and lead Salesforce Data Cloud solutions. Responsibilities include designing scalable data architectures, managing ingestion and activation workflows, integrating Data Cloud with MarTech platforms, collaborating with marketing, analytics, and engineering teams. Required skills: Salesforce Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud (MCP, Journey Builder, Interaction Studio), API integrations (REST, SOAP), SQL, Python or JavaScript, data governance and privacy compliance (GDPR, CCPA). Preferred skills: Salesforce CRM, Service Cloud, Commerce Cloud, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), CI/CD, DevOps, containerization, client-facing experience. Education: Bachelor's in Engineering (CS, Data, IT) or related field. Certifications in Salesforce Data Cloud and Marketing Cloud preferred. Shift timing: 12 PM – 10 PM.

What you'll do

  • Lead the technical design and implementation of Salesforce Data Cloud solutions
  • Architect data models and ingestion pipelines for unified customer profiles
  • Integrate Data Cloud with MCP and other MarTech platforms for activation and personalization
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions
  • Guide development teams in building reusable components and automation scripts
  • Ensure data quality, performance optimization, and privacy compliance
  • Troubleshoot complex data and integration issues across platforms
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical standards and best practices
  • Support audience creation, segmentation, and journey orchestration workflows
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and contribute to roadmap planning for Data Cloud adoption

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce Data Cloud including data ingestion, unification, and activation
  • Strong understanding of identity resolution, consent management, and customer profile stitching
  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, especially MCP, Journey Builder, and Interaction Studio
  • Proficiency in API integrations (REST, SOAP) and data connectors
  • Strong skills in SQL, Python, or JavaScript for data manipulation and automation
  • Experience integrating Data Cloud with MarTech platforms (ESPs, CRMs, analytics tools)
  • Familiarity with data governance, privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA), and performance optimization
  • Good-to-have: Experience with Salesforce CRM, Service Cloud, or Commerce Cloud
  • Good-to-have: Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and big data technologies
  • Good-to-have: Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and containerization
  • Good-to-have: Client-facing experience and ability to lead technical discussions
  • Good-to-have: Familiarity with audience segmentation, journey orchestration, and personalization strategies
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Computer Science, Data, IT) or related field with good communication and analytical skills
  • Relevant Salesforce certifications (Data Cloud Consultant, Marketing Cloud Consultant, MCP Accredited Professional, Marketing Cloud Developer, Administrator, Agent Force Specialist)
