Full job description

Microsoft Advertising CRM team seeks a senior software engineer to design and develop CRM solutions by customizing and extending Dynamics 365 CRM for advertising workflows including sales, marketing, and case management. The role involves integrating CRM with advertising systems, marketing automation tools, and reporting platforms such as Power BI. Support AI-first initiatives and automation within CRM to improve seller efficiency. Collaborate with product managers, data engineers, and sales teams to align CRM capabilities with business goals. Ensure data integrity, privacy compliance, and security standards. Requires Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with 4+ years of technical engineering experience coding in C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, or equivalent experience. Preferred qualifications include Master's degree with 6+ years experience or Bachelor's with 8+ years, knowledge of Azure cloud technologies, and experience with large-scale systems and API design. Must pass Microsoft Cloud background check and meet security screening requirements. Position is full-time, on-site in Redmond, WA or Mountain View, CA. Salary range USD 119,800 - 234,700 per year, higher in SF Bay Area and NYC.

What you'll do

  • Design & Develop CRM Solutions: Customize and extend Dynamics 365 CRM for advertising workflows (Sales, Marketing, Case Management)
  • Data Integration: Connect CRM with Ads systems, marketing automation tools, and reporting platforms (Power BI)
  • AI-Enhanced Features: Support AI-first initiatives and automation capabilities within CRM systems to streamline workflows and improve seller efficiency
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with product managers, data engineers, and sales teams to align CRM capabilities with business goals
  • Ensure Quality & Compliance: Maintain data integrity, privacy compliance, and security standards

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, OR equivalent experience
  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements including Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter
  • Preferred: Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, OR Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience, OR equivalent experience
  • Solid knowledge of cloud technologies (Azure)
  • Experience with large-scale systems and API design
