Full job description
Microsoft Advertising Platform team is seeking a senior software engineer to design, develop, and deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance backend services for online advertising. The role involves coding, debugging, testing, troubleshooting, architectural improvements, cross-team collaboration, and mentoring engineers. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with 4+ years of technical engineering experience coding in C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, or equivalent experience. Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree or 8+ years experience, knowledge of distributed systems, cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS, and experience in online advertising. The position requires passing Microsoft Cloud background checks and working on-site in Redmond, Washington. Salary ranges from $119,800 to $234,700 annually in the U.S., with higher ranges in select metro areas.
