Senior Software Engineer role at ComScore in Pune, India. Responsible for designing and maintaining big data web and engineering solutions at petabyte scale. Own features and components end to end, write production-quality code, participate in code reviews, use AI coding assistants, debug production issues, define data models, design and maintain data pipelines, build data platforms using AWS and Snowflake, collaborate with DevOps and other teams, and coordinate with external stakeholders. Requires bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, 4-7 years software engineering experience, 3+ years with Python, Java or Scala in Linux, 3+ years with Big Data technologies (AWS EMR, Spark, Hadoop), strong SQL skills, familiarity with Linux shell scripting, strong analytical skills, and fluency with AI development tools. Nice to have experience with Snowflake, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), Scala, DevOps practices, and agile methodologies.
