Microsoft is hiring a senior software engineer for its Online Advertising team in Bengaluru, India. The role involves designing and developing large scale online and offline platform tools for ads products, architecting cloud-based applications, analyzing large-scale logs for system improvements, and innovating new advertising features. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, 4+ years of coding experience in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), distributed systems and microservices architecture, and big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, and Cosmos. Preferred qualifications include a BTech/MTech in Computer Science, strong problem-solving skills, expertise in data structures and algorithms, and at least 6 years of software development experience. The position requires passing Microsoft Cloud background checks and is on-site in Bengaluru.
