Full job description

Lead Front-End Developer role requiring expertise in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) and Storefront Reference Architecture (SFRA). Responsibilities include defining front-end architecture, leading and mentoring teams, collaborating cross-functionally, and ensuring high-quality, scalable, and accessible eCommerce solutions. Required skills: 6+ years front-end development, 3+ years SFCC and SFRA experience, proficiency in HTML5, CSS3 (SCSS), JavaScript (ES6+), React, ISML, Page Designer, Bootstrap, Git, Webpack, and NPM. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills needed. Preferred qualifications include Salesforce certifications, experience with Headless Commerce, PWA, Agile, and CI/CD. Location: Pune, Maharashtra, India.

What you'll do

  • Define and drive front-end architecture strategy for SFCC initiatives
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to front-end development teams
  • Collaborate with product management, UX/UI design, back-end engineering, and QA teams
  • Advocate for continuous technical innovation with modern tools and methodologies
  • Architect and implement reusable, modular front-end components within SFRA
  • Customize and extend SFCC templates using ISML, JavaScript, jQuery, SCSS, Page Designer
  • Ensure responsive, mobile-first design principles using Bootstrap or equivalent
  • Maintain accessibility standards (WCAG, ADA) and cross-browser compatibility
  • Lead front-end performance optimization (code splitting, lazy loading, critical CSS)
  • Oversee and enforce code review processes
  • Mentor junior and mid-level developers
  • Facilitate documentation of front-end architecture, processes, and standards

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 years front-end development experience
  • At least 3 years experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud and SFRA
  • Expert proficiency in HTML5, CSS3 (SCSS), and JavaScript (ES6+)
  • Experience with React or similar modern JavaScript frameworks
  • Experience with ISML templating, SFRA framework, Page Designer, and JavaScript controllers
  • Experience developing scalable, responsive, mobile-first web interfaces using Bootstrap or similar
  • Strong expertise in front-end performance optimization (code splitting, lazy loading, critical CSS)
  • Proficiency with Git, Webpack, and NPM
  • Experience with third-party integration tools
  • Proven leadership capabilities
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and strong ownership
  • Strategic mindset and passion for continuous improvement
  • Preferred: Salesforce Certifications or equivalent
  • Preferred: Experience with Headless Commerce architecture, Progressive Web Apps (PWA)
  • Preferred: Familiarity with Agile methodologies and CI/CD processes
  • Proven experience troubleshooting Salesforce configuration, customizations, and integrations
  • Ability to adapt to dynamic and fast-paced environment
