Full job description

The Trade Desk is seeking a Senior Product Manager based in Sydney to lead the development of audience products for programmatic advertising in the Asia-Pacific region. The role involves defining product vision, strategy, and roadmap for audience targeting and insights tools, designing AI-driven workflows, managing end-to-end product execution, collaborating with engineering, data science, and business teams, and acting as a strategic leader across APAC and globally. Candidates should have 5+ years of product management experience with a strong technical and analytical background, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to deliver complex, impactful software products.

What you'll do

  • Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for next generation audience targeting, segmentation, and insights tools
  • Design and own Agentic-AI product workflows where AI agents autonomously identify, segment, and activate high-value audiences
  • Own end-to-end execution for audience and insights products from discovery through delivery, iterating based on data and customer feedback
  • Partner deeply with Engineering, Data Science, and Business teams to align on strategy and ensure measurable customer impact
  • Be the voice of the customer by gathering requirements, designing prototypes, prioritizing and scoping releases, and working with engineering to deliver and iterate products
  • Operate as a strategic leader across APAC and globally, collaborating with distributed teams to meet diverse market and regulatory needs

Requirements

  • Proven track record of using data to identify opportunities, make decisions, and iterate products toward desired outcomes
  • Background in data science, analytics, or engineering is a strong plus
  • 5+ years of Product Management experience with an academic or professional foundation in math, statistics, data science, or a related quantitative discipline
  • Ability to write detailed specifications that clearly articulate the 'why' behind the problem
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in both large and small group settings
  • Demonstrated ability to align stakeholders across engineering, data science, business, and commercial disciplines
  • Experience working effectively with distributed, cross-functional teams across time zones
  • Experience building complex products with years of iteration
  • Sustained track record of making significant, self-directed, end-to-end contributions to large-scale, impactful software projects
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and taking calculated risks
  • Ability to solve complex technical problems with creative solutions while managing tradeoffs transparently
