Full job description
AppLovin is hiring a Business Development Manager for its Consumer (eCommerce & Apps) team based in Shenzhen (remote). The role involves developing and expanding high-value enterprise clients in APAC e-commerce and non-gaming app sectors, managing full sales cycles, executing localized sales strategies, and building strategic client relationships. Candidates should have 5+ years experience in sales/business development in mobile ad tech, digital marketing, e-commerce or non-gaming apps with strong APAC market knowledge. Fluency in English and Mandarin and a bachelor's degree in a relevant field are required. Responsibilities include client onboarding, campaign optimization, market analysis, sales reporting, and cross-team collaboration.
What you'll do
- Identify, prospect, and onboard high-value enterprise clients in APAC e-commerce and non-gaming app verticals
- Manage full sales cycle from lead generation to contract closing and expand business scale with existing key accounts
- Develop and execute localized sales and business development strategies for APAC markets
- Understand regional market trends, competitor dynamics, and industry demands
- Serve as primary business contact for key clients, build long-term strategic relationships
- Conduct regular business reviews, communicate product updates and industry insights
- Provide customized growth solutions for user acquisition and business scaling
- Collaborate with product, operation, technical, and customer success teams for client onboarding and campaign optimization
- Track and analyze APAC e-commerce and non-gaming app industry trends and competitor strategies
- Participate in industry summits and business events to expand resources and enhance brand influence
- Maintain accurate sales pipelines, track business progress, submit sales reports and market feedback
- Adjust business strategies based on data results
Requirements
- 5 years of professional sales and business development experience in mobile ad tech, digital marketing, e-commerce, or non-gaming app industry
- Solid APAC market operation experience and industry resource accumulation
- Proven track record of large client development and account expansion
- Experienced in negotiating and closing cooperation with mid-to-large e-commerce brands and non-gaming app developers
- Outstanding large account operation and maintenance capabilities
- In-depth understanding of APAC e-commerce ecosystem, non-gaming app business model, mobile user acquisition and in-app monetization logic
- Familiar with regional mainstream media, traffic channels and industry competition patterns
- Excellent business negotiation, presentation, communication and cross-team collaboration skills
- Strong goal orientation, pressure resistance and market insight
- Capable of independently completing full-cycle sales and business development work
- Fluent in English and Mandarin for daily business communication and client docking
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Marketing, Business Administration, International Trade or related fields
