Full job description

Senior Manager with 14+ years in software engineering and 5+ years in engineering management. Responsible for leading delivery of Promotions and Loyalty Services platforms, managing multi-disciplinary teams, and ensuring quality, performance, and client outcomes. Requires technical fluency in JavaScript (ES6+), Node.js, MySQL, RESTful API development, microservices, frontend technologies (HTML5, CSS3, Vue.js), version control (Git, GitHub), and CI/CD. Strong leadership, client and stakeholder management, communication, and pre-sales experience required. Good to have Perl, Java (Spring), AWS, QA leadership, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and DevOps skills. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required. Cloud, Scrum/Agile, and DevOps certifications preferred. Location: Mumbai, India.

What you'll do

Own delivery quality, timelines, KPIs, compliance, and risk mitigation
Lead multi-disciplinary teams, drive capability building, foster culture, manage utilization
Act as primary engineering contact, run reviews, manage risks, build trusted-advisor positioning
Align with internal leadership, collaborate across workstreams, represent in leadership forums
Partner on new opportunities, lead solution design, maintain estimation frameworks, identify growth opportunities

Requirements

14+ years in professional software engineering
5+ years in engineering management
Technical fluency in JavaScript (ES6+), Node.js, MySQL or similar
Experience with RESTful API development, integration, and microservices architecture
Frontend technologies: HTML5, CSS3, Vue.js or similar
Version control (Git, GitHub) and CI/CD practices
Strong understanding of system architecture, design principles, and engineering best practices
Proven leadership in scaling engineering organizations
Strong client and stakeholder management with global teams
Excellent communication, influence, and collaboration skills
Experience with pre-sales, scoping, estimation, and account growth
People leadership: hiring, performance management, career development
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP) preferred
Scrum/Agile certifications preferred
DevOps-related certifications preferred
