Full job description

Moloco is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to own CTR/CVR prediction models within a real-time bidding system. Responsibilities include end-to-end model ownership, feature engineering, offline and online evaluation, experiment debugging, tooling development, and technical leadership. Candidates must have 5+ years of machine learning experience, proficiency in Python, and experience with large-scale prediction systems. Bonus for experience with LLMs in evaluation or signal discovery. What you'll do

  • Own a production CTR/CVR prediction model end-to-end including modeling, evaluation, feature pipelines, online experimentation, and post-launch operations
  • Identify new data sources and features to improve model performance
  • Design offline evaluation, ship to online A/B testing, analyze results, and iterate quickly
  • Diagnose offline-online divergences in model performance
  • Build tooling to automate experiment-debugging and signal-discovery workflows
  • Set technical direction and decide priorities for the ML stack
  • Collaborate with data and pipeline teams to align on signals feeding the models
  • Manage data-quality instrumentation, train/serve consistency, slicing evaluation to find failure modes, and careful experiment debugging

Requirements

  • 5+ years of machine learning experience with a track record of shipping production-grade models in business-critical environments
  • Experience with data analysis
  • Experience working on large-scale prediction or decisioning systems such as CTR/CVR, ranking, recommendation, personalization, or related
  • Experience writing code in Python
  • Comfortable functioning under ambiguity
  • Bonus: experience using LLMs as agents or feature extractors, especially in evaluation, experiment debugging, or signal-discovery contexts
