Kargo is hiring a senior machine learning engineer to lead the design and production deployment of multimodal ML models for Finetouch, a creative scoring system predicting ad performance. Responsibilities include building production-grade MLOps pipelines, scaling distributed training and inference, developing APIs for real-time scoring, implementing monitoring and drift detection, and collaborating with product and creative teams. Required skills include 5+ years in ML engineering or MLOps with LLMs, VLMs, or multimodal architectures, expertise in Python, PyTorch or TensorFlow, distributed training frameworks, MLOps tools, cloud ML deployment on AWS, GCP, or Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and strong SQL and data pipeline design. Preferred experience includes vector databases, embedding pipelines, real-time retrieval systems, and creative scoring or ad performance prediction. Salary range is $150,000 to $175,000 USD.
