Full job description

Moloco is seeking a Senior Growth Manager in Tokyo to lead strategic success and revenue growth for key and enterprise advertiser accounts. The role involves building senior client relationships, defining growth strategies, leading commercial negotiations, and optimizing campaign performance on Moloco's DSP. Candidates should have 7+ years of experience in account management, programmatic marketing, or ad tech, with strong executive communication skills, analytical fluency, and fluency in Japanese and business-level English. Responsibilities include managing portfolio revenue strategies, client leadership, data-driven decision making, and cross-functional collaboration.

What you'll do

  • Own strategic direction and revenue outcomes of a portfolio of key accounts in Japan
  • Build and sustain relationships with senior client executives
  • Lead senior client forums including QBRs, executive briefings, and multi-stakeholder strategy sessions
  • Develop deep knowledge of each client's business model, market dynamics, and growth ambitions
  • Define and execute portfolio-level revenue strategies including upsell, cross-sell, and expansion
  • Own commercial negotiations for complex, multi-product deals
  • Use data storytelling to influence senior stakeholders on budget, product adoption, and expansion
  • Identify systemic patterns and build scalable commercial frameworks
  • Monitor client operations on Moloco's DSP, identify inefficiencies and opportunities
  • Guide clients on bidding, budget strategy, creative direction, and expansion levers
  • Translate performance data into business narratives to build client confidence
  • Diagnose performance root causes and lead cross-functional alignment on solutions

Requirements

  • 7+ years in account management, growth, or strategic sales
  • Strong track record in programmatic marketing, mobile advertising, or ad tech
  • Ability to own enterprise and key accounts from strategy through to commercial close with minimal oversight
  • Experience engaging senior client executives and driving decisions at that level
  • Proven contribution beyond individual accounts such as playbook creation, team development, vertical ownership, or org-level impact
  • Executive-level communication and presence
  • Portfolio-level commercial thinking
  • Strong analytical fluency
  • High autonomy and ability to structure ambiguous problems
  • Low-ego multiplier who shares learnings and elevates peers
  • Native/fluent Japanese and business-level English
